LOHRMANN starts the pre-evaluation study on the relocation of an oil refinery from Europe to Nigeria.

The capacity of the already dismantled refinery is in the range of 27,000 bpd and was shut down in 2005.

The project foresees the debottlenecking of the existing units and an upgrade with a Vacuum Distillation Unit, Isomerisation Unit and a Fluid Catalytic Cracker in a later project stage.



The refinery site located in Iwopin, west of Lagos and is presently under preparation for the erection of the storage facilities.
